Sustainability

The Snake Basket

I am always listening and learning. As I grow, so will my practices. I will always improve the impact my work has on all beings and Mama Earth.

I use natural, non-toxic materials that are consciously grown. All my t-shirts are made with hemp and organic cotton.

Hemp is amazing at absorbing CO2, capturing about twice as much as a forest and any other commercial crop. It grows fast with little water and nitrogen and doesn't need pesticides. Hemp's deep roots clean the soil, prevent erosion and regenerate farmland. It is low waste, with most of the plant being used.

Organic cotton is grown using less water than regular cotton. It is non-GMO and free from toxic pesticides - which is better for Mama Earth, creating cleaner air, water and supporting biodiversity. It also ends in a non-toxic, hypoallergenic product for us.

Everything is shipped in home compostable bags.

I really fucking care about our home and all of us that live here.

Printing

Designs are printed using ink that is water based, child safe and Oeko Tex certified. The ink pouches are collected for reuse by Close The Loop.

Textile waste from test prints, misprints and samples are donated to local not-for-profits. Items not suitable for donation are upcycled.
